(Metro) It's time to re-think your opinion of coconut oil. Despite what you may have heard, it's not healthy.
The American Heart Association recently released a report stating that coconut oil increases bad cholesterol.
It also contains more saturated fat than butter, beef fat or pork lard.
The American Heart Association says it advises against consuming coconut oil because it increases the chance of cardiovascular disease.
