A Mega Millions ticket worth $99 million remains unclaimed more than a month after its winning drawing on May 17th.
The ticket was bought in Farmville. The holder will split the $198 million jackpot with the holder of another winning ticket that’s already been claimed in New Jersey.
According to the Virginia Lottery, the holder of the winning ticket in Virginia has 180 days after the date of the drawing to claim the prize, which they can choose to receive in a single payment of around $73 million before taxes, or the full $99 million prize in 26 annual payments.
