Charlottesville leaders met Tuesday to discuss the future layout of the city.
Thomas Jefferson Planning District CXommission Executive Director, Billie Campbell says they need to look at ways to use the money that comes into the area to make sure that people can find safe, decent housing.
ideally, a family shouldn't pay more than 30 percent of its income on housing, but commission members say a lot of area families pay more.
