The Senior Center unveiled plans for its new facility. The center needs to raise approximately 18 million dollars over the next three years in order to move from its current location at Pepsi Place.
Officials from the center gathered Tuesday off Belvedere Drive to show off the new site and to go over the plans and begin the campaign to fund it.
Dawn Heneberry, capital campaign director, said no money has yet been raised for the physical construction of the building, but the land was purchased.”
The new building is set to open in 2016.
