(Metro) When President Obama takes the oath of office at the U.S. Capitol later this month, he'll be sworn in with two Bibles.
One belonged to Martin Luther King Jr. and the other to President Abraham Lincoln.
King's "traveling Bible" comes from his family, while the Lincoln Bible is from the Library of Congress.
Presidential Inaugural Committee chief Steve Kerrigan says the bibles are rich in tradition and reflect the great American story that binds the nation.
The public inauguration ceremony will be held on Monday, January 21st.
