It’s almost a year away, but the Charlottesville City Council is already looking at the budget for next year.
City Council met Thursday night to discuss staff recommendations and try to find ways to fix a nearly $100-thousand dollar deficit.
City Councilor Dave Norris says the amount is small enough that they won’t have to raise taxes or cut anything from the budget.
Thursday night's session was the last before city staff formally presents the budget to city council and the public March 4.
