(Metro) There are reports of a possible meteor sighting in southwestern Virginia. 

A number of people called into newsrooms in the area saying they spotted a huge fireball in the sky over Bedford, Roanoke and Franklin Counties. 

The reports came in about 9:30 last night. 

Authorities in each of those counties say they have received calls about what was seen in the sky.
