Columbia Anniversary Noted

(Metro) Today marks the tenth anniversary of the tragic loss of Space Shuttle Columbia and its crew of seven. 

The orbiter broke up over Texas during its fiery re-entry, creating a debris field that stretched into Louisiana. 

The remaining Shuttle fleet was grounded for nearly three years while NASA worked to correct the problem.
