Residents in Charlottesville, particularly in the Birdwood neighborhood, are voicing concerns about noise problems yet to come associated with the planned construction of the Route 250 Bypass construction project.
When construction begins in March, crews are expected to remove a number of trees and a natural embankment to build a highway overpass and on-ramps.
Residents feel the ensuing noise associated with the construction will harm the now-peaceful environment they live in.
The interchange project could take up to two years to complete.
